Kathleen touched the lives of those she came into contact with. Inside the classroom and without, Kathleen saw opportunities to learn, and thereby become a better person, in even the most seemingly innocuous interactions. Through her teaching and scholarship, her gentle but emphatic advocacy on behalf of the disadvantaged and the quiet insistence of her life example, Kathleen quietly showed us the good in others and the good in ourselves. Her empathy for her clients, her ability to learn and teach lessons from everyday life experiences and her unwavering allegiance to and respect for her client's privacy and autonomy inspired those around her. The following stories were written in memory of her.
